Cappadocia is known for its underground cities, which were used by Christians to hide from the Romans and later from the Muslims. This particular cave network could hold about 20,000 people for three days.
I am a Brandeis University student spending my junior year abroad. From August to January I am attending the American University in Cairo, and from February to June I am attending Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
