Cairo in the News
May 19

I couldn't resist. The official caption, according to the New York Times, reads, "Protesters fled in Cairo Thursday as the police cracked down on a rally backing independence for judges." However, a closer look simply reveals the disorganization of Egyptian society. The cops are doing nothing, and Mubarak's 'thugs' have free reign over fellow Egyptians. Are they actually grabbing themselves? (see the article at http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/19/world/africa/19egypt.html) Posted by Picasa
